ABOUT TRUE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF CAMEROON (TDPC)
True Democratic Party of Cameroon (TDPC) was founded in the year 2023 by Barrister Anyang Lewis Forchenallah (the Founder and National President) who deemed it very necessary to put in place a political party in Cameroon that will preach and practice true democracy, and equally fight legally to put in place a level playing political environment/field in the country for all Cameroonians irrespective of their political party to thrive politically.
Barrister Anyang Lewis Forchenallah after founding the party proceeded to convince some great Cameroonians who then joined forces with him and proceeded to register the party in the year 2024.
True Democratic Party of Cameroon (TDPC) is made up of Cameroonians who strongly believe that Cameroon will be a better country in the nearest future. This party is made up of Cameroonians who are willing to contribute and sacrifice positively for the development and progress of the Republic of Cameroon.
The government of Cameroon claims that we are practicing democracy, but any reasonable person can easily conclude that democracy is not practiced in Cameroon because we don’t have presidential term limits, the president is the head of the Higher Judicial Council (in total violation of the principle of separation of powers), power is highly centralized in Yaoundé despite the fact that the law provides for decentralization etc. Just as the name of the party says, we are out to put in place true democracy in Cameroon.
True Democratic Party of Cameroon (TDPC) is a political platform for all altruistic Cameroonians to use as a vehicle to achieve their political ambitions, realise their political dreams and occupy positions of power with the sole objective of serving the people and the country honestly and fairly. We strongly believe that there are honest and just Cameroonians who can provide better leadership in our country than most of the leaders we presently have in most positions of power in Cameroon.
This political party was created to produce extraordinary political leaders who shall have zero tolerance for corruption, injustice, nepotism, tribalism, favouritism, godfatherism, etc. This political party shall produce leaders who shall at all times promote true democracy, human rights, rule of law, separation of powers, economic, cultural and social development, and above all have the fear of God, our creator.
